USINE RESTAURANT, STOCKHOLM

Another classic stark looking interior for a restaurant here, following the black and white trend complete with the use of feature framed art and structured planting brought from the outdoors in.

The black is used most obviously in the seating and ceiling lights. Classic cafe bistro style side chairs in painted wood go perfectly with the cast iron continental dining table bases. Cold hard concrete coats the floor and a reception bar area allowing for ultimate reflection in the already brightly lit setting. Tables are topped with raw wood, sometimes in planks all adding to the geometry of the interior which is housed by the massive rectangular window frames.

As well as being strikingly smart the restaurant has a feeling of being undone in places, with the completely open ceiling being the focal feature of the vents, fans and pipes that would normally be hidden away being used as an artistic element.
