Restaurant and Bar, Redbird in Los Angeles has been chosen for the flowing simplicity of its interior for this weeks blog post. Using the classic colour combination of black and white with hints of orange, grey and green this provides the perfect backdrop for the geometrical super contemporary furniture styles.

Furniture is upholstered in a range of coloured weaves adding to the dynamic feeling of the interior. The painted slender metal frames of the furniture reflect the black decorative window frames as well as the pointed roof light. Curved back bar stools have been chosen so the angular qualities of the rest of the furniture don't overwhelm the eyes.

Finishes used are really interesting and quite unusual as they are mostly variations of tiles - the ceiling has been completed with small intricately painted tiles, the floor is paved with stone shapes creating an almost woven effect and finally the look is completed with the bars outer surface coated with wooden curved, almost celtic discs.
